सीताविलापः—त्रिजटासान्त्वनं च
Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation
सात्वंभवसुविस्रब्धाअनुमानैस्सुखोदयैः ।अहतौपश्यकाकुत्स्थौस्नेहादेतद्ब्र्रवीमिते ।।।।
sā tvaṃ bhava suvisrabdhā anumānaiḥ sukhodayaiḥ | ahatau paśya kākutsthau snehād etad bravīmi te ||
Итак, будь вполне спокойна, опираясь на эти благие признаки; смотри — оба Какутстхи невредимы. Из любви к тебе я говорю это.
"This army is not doubting, not perturbed also, that they are killed. They are guarding the Kakutsthas lovingly. I am telling you."
Dharma supports calming fear through grounded reasoning (anumāna) and benevolent speech—truth conveyed with care.
The speaker urges Sītā to trust the visible and inferential signs that Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa are not slain.
