नकालःकपिराजेन्द्रवैक्लब्यमवलम्बितुम् ।।6.46.37।।अतिस्नेहोऽप्यकालेऽस्मिन्मरणायोपकल्पते ।
na kālaḥ kapirājendra vaiklabyam avalambitum |
ati-sneho 'py akāle 'smin maraṇāyopakalpate ||6.46.37||
«О владыка царей обезьян, не время предаваться малодушию; даже чрезмерная привязанность, когда она не к месту, становится причиной, ведущей к смерти.»
"O king of monkeys! This is not the time for faint heartedness. Extreme attachment at this time will lead us to death."
Dharma requires courage and timely restraint: attachment is virtuous when it supports duty, but destructive when it paralyzes action in crisis.
Sugrīva’s morale falters; Vibhīṣaṇa warns him that weakness and untimely emotional indulgence can doom their cause in battle.
Steadfastness (dhairya) and discerning detachment (viveka-yukta vairāgya) in service of righteous action.
