लङ्कानिरीक्षणं व्यूहविन्यासश्च
Survey of Lanka and Deployment of the Battle Formation
सागरस्येवमेवेगोमारुतस्येवमेगति: ।नहिदाशरथिर्वेदतेनमांयोद्धुमिच्छति ।।।।
sāgarasyeva me vegaḥ mārutasyeva me gatiḥ |
na hi dāśarathir veda tena māṃ yoddhum icchati ||
«Мой натиск — как прилив океана, и быстрота моя — как Ветер. Сын Дашаратхи этого не знает; потому и желает сразиться со мной.»
Even the Rakshasas heard the roaring of Vanaras in their pride that was bellowing like that of clouds in the sky.
