Между тем могучий Лакшмана — младший брат Рагхавы, губитель вражеских витязей — разгневавшись, схватил семь стрел.
Lakshmana, who was endowed with extraordinary splendour, for his part, with his shafts which had great force, shattered the device of man's head on the flag post of Ravana.
Dharma here is loyal support in a righteous cause: Lakṣmaṇa’s readiness reflects duty to protect and uphold a just mission.
As the duel intensifies, Lakṣmaṇa prepares to intervene by taking up seven arrows.
Bhrātṛ-bhakti (devotion to a brother) and protective courage—Lakṣmaṇa acts as steadfast support for Rāma.
