Приведи также сюда престарелого царя Кекая, высочайше праведного в дхарме, тестя льва среди царей, вместе с его сыновьями.
Bring with honour king of Anga, Romapada, famous and prosperous. He is an intimate friend of the king (Dasaratha).
Dharma is shown as honoring elders and kinship ties (śvaśura-sambandha) while assembling righteous participants for sacred rites.
Vasiṣṭha instructs Sumantra to invite the Kekaya king, noting both his righteousness and his family relation to Daśaratha.
The Kekaya king is characterized by paramadharma—exemplary righteousness—together with venerable age and family responsibility.
