ऋष्यशृङ्गानयनम् — Bringing Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Ayodhyā
Bālakāṇḍa, Sarga 11
प्रतिगृह्य च तं विप्रं स राजा विगतज्वर:।आहरिष्यति तं यज्ञं प्रहृष्टेनान्तरात्मना।।1.11.7।।
pratigṛhya ca taṃ vipraṃ sa rājā vigatajvaraḥ, āhariṣyati taṃ yajñaṃ prahṛṣṭenāntarātmanā.
Приняв того брахмана — Ришьяшрингу, царь, избавившись от внутренней муки, приступил бы к совершению яджны, с ликующей душой.
The king relieved of his suffering, was highly delighted. He would take the brahmin with him and perform the sacrificial ritual.
Relief and joy are grounded in dharmic means: the king’s confidence arises from welcoming a worthy priest and committing to a legitimate ritual path.
Ṛśyaśṛṅga is received, and preparations culminate in Daśaratha’s resolve to carry out the yajña.
Daśaratha’s reverence for spiritual authority and steady commitment to prescribed dharma.
