Transliteration

tasmāj jyeṣṭhe hi kaikeyi rājyatantrāṇi pārthivāḥ | sthāpayanty anavadyāṅgi guṇavatsv itareṣv api || 2.8.24 ||

Translation

Потому, о Кайкейи — о безупречная обликом, — цари вверяют устройство правления старшему сыну либо другому сыну, наделённому добродетелями.
