Sumitra’s Consolation to Kausalya
शिरसा चरणावेतौ वन्दमानमनिन्दितेपुनर्द्रक्ष्यसि कल्याणि पुत्रं चन्द्रमिवोदितम्।।।।
śirasā caraṇāv etau vandamānam anindite | punar drakṣyasi kalyāṇi putraṃ candram ivoditam ||
О безупречная и благословенная, ты вновь увидишь своего сына — словно восходящую луну — склоняющегося к твоим стопам и почитающего их своей главой.
O irreproachable and auspicious one! you will see your son, like the rising Moon, touching your feet with his head.
