तपस्विनाम् औत्सुक्यं राक्षसत्रासश्च

सकलत्रस्य सन्देहो नित्यं यत्तस्य राघव।समर्थस्यापि हि सतो वासो दुःखमिहाद्य ते।।2.116.22।।
sakalatrasya sandeho nityaṁ yat tasya rāghava |
samarthasyāpi hi sato vāso duḥkham ihādya te ||2.116.22||
О Рагхава, у того, кто живёт здесь с супругой, тревога бывает постоянной; даже для тебя, хоть ты и вполне силён, пребывание здесь ныне полно тягот и опасности.
O Rama, even though you are always vigilant and capable in all possible ways to defend youself, a doubt arises in our mind. It is perilous for you to live here with your wife.
Dharma is not only valor but also responsible protection of dependents; the verse underscores the duty to minimize foreseeable danger, especially when one’s spouse is present.
