Yakṣiṇī-Mantra-Sādhana Nirūpaṇa
Lakṣmī-avatāra-vidyāḥ: Bālā, Annapūrṇā, Bagalā
मारुतः शिवमंत्रोऽयं सप्तार्णः शिवपूजने । वाराहनारायणयोर्मंत्रौ पूर्वमुदीरयेत् ॥ ७३ ॥
mārutaḥ śivamaṃtro'yaṃ saptārṇaḥ śivapūjane | vārāhanārāyaṇayormaṃtrau pūrvamudīrayet || 73 ||
В поклонении Шиве эта семисложная шива-мантра именуется «Марута» — мантрой Ветра. Прежде неё следует сначала произнести мантры Варахи и Нараяны.
Narada (teaching ritual/mantra procedure in the Vedanga-oriented section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches mantra-krama (proper sequencing): invoking Varāha and Nārāyaṇa first establishes a protective and auspicious foundation, after which the seven-syllabled Śiva-mantra is recited in Śiva-pūjā.
It reflects integrated bhakti: devotion to Śiva is performed without rejecting Viṣṇu-forms (Varāha, Nārāyaṇa), showing that sincere worship follows prescribed order and honors multiple divine manifestations.
It highlights ritual precision and phonetic counting (saptārṇa—seven syllabic units), a practical concern of Śikṣā (pronunciation) and Kalpa (ritual procedure) applied to mantra-recitation.
