О дважды-рождённый, прикоснувшись к больному и совершив джапу предписанной мантры десять тысяч раз — или даже лишь удерживая её в уме, — мантрик, пребывая внутри ритуальной мандалы, должен даровать больному освобождение от недуга.
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents mantra as a disciplined sacred technology: when performed with purity and correct method (japa, sparśa, and maṇḍala), it becomes a dharmic means for alleviating suffering and restoring balance in a devotee’s life.
While technical, the verse implies bhakti through focused remembrance (manasā smaraṇa) and reverent practice—showing that sincere inner recollection can support or even substitute external recitation when done with steadiness and faith.
It highlights mantra-prayoga (applied mantra practice) and ritual procedure—especially the rule of japa-saṅkhyā (a fixed count like 10,000) and the use of a maṇḍala as a controlled ritual space for remedial rites.
