The Account of Hanumān
आवाहनादीनुपचारांरतथापि कृत्वा स्नानं पूर्ववच्छंकरस्य । औदुंबरं राजतं स्वर्णपीठं वस्त्रादिच्छन्नं सर्वमेवेह पीठम् ॥ ४५ ॥
āvāhanādīnupacārāṃratathāpi kṛtvā snānaṃ pūrvavacchaṃkarasya | auduṃbaraṃ rājataṃ svarṇapīṭhaṃ vastrādicchannaṃ sarvameveha pīṭham || 45 ||
Хотя уже совершены служения, начиная с призывания (āvāhana) и прочих ритуальных почестей, затем следует, как и прежде предписано, совершить омовение Шанкары (Śaṅkara). Здесь же пьитха (pīṭha) должна быть из дерева удумбара, либо из серебра, либо из золота, и целиком покрыта тканью и подобными украшениями.
