lakṣaṃ japenmaṃtrarājaṃ pūjayitvā tu pūrvavat | lakṣāṃti divasaṃ prāpya kuryyāñca pūjanaṃ mahat || 138 ||
Совершив поклонение так же, как прежде, следует начитать «Царя мантр» сто тысяч раз; и когда наступит день завершения этого лака, надлежит совершить великое, особое поклонение.
Narada (in instruction within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that mantra practice becomes spiritually complete when disciplined japa is sealed with a formal concluding worship (pūjā), marking inner resolve and devotional maturity.
Bhakti is shown as steady repetition of the sacred mantra (japa) combined with reverent worship; the ‘grand worship’ at completion expresses gratitude and surrender to the mantra’s deity.
It reflects ritual discipline and procedural correctness—counted japa (lakṣa), continuity of the prescribed pūjā method (pūrvavat), and a completion rite—elements aligned with kalpa-style practice.
