The Description of the Worship of Rāma and Others
Rāmādi-pūjā-vidhāna
रक्षोघ्नविशदायांते मधुरादिप्रसन्न च । वरदानायामितांते नुतेजसेपदमीरयेत् ॥ ५१ ॥
rakṣoghnaviśadāyāṃte madhurādiprasanna ca | varadānāyāmitāṃte nutejasepadamīrayet || 51 ||
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada on technical recitation/nyasa)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches precise placement of a power-word (“Tejase”, invoking radiance) at specific segment-endings, showing that mantra efficacy in the Narada Purana depends on exact structure, not only devotion.
Bhakti here is supported by disciplined practice: reverence is expressed through careful, correct recitation that invokes divine tejas (spiritual brilliance) for protection and auspiciousness.
Śikṣā (phonetics/recitation) and Vyākaraṇa-style segmentation (pada and section endings) are implied—where to append a specific case-form like “tejase” as part of ritualized mantra procedure.
