Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It states a scriptural certainty: mastery over the senses and anger, combined with sincere service to one’s guru, leads to exalted spiritual attainment—here expressed as reaching Brahmaloka (the abode of Brahmā).
It emphasizes bhakti expressed as guru-śuśrūṣā (devoted attendance and service). Such disciplined devotion, supported by inner restraint (dama) and freedom from anger (krodha-jaya), becomes a direct means to higher spiritual destinations.
Rather than a technical Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa), the verse highlights practical śāstric discipline: dama (sense-control), krodha-nigraha (anger-restraint), and guru-sevā as foundational conduct for Vedic learning and spiritual progress.
