В тройной период Свати (Svātī), если это находится на западе, то и Шукра (Венера) считается в таком же состоянии. Если же наоборот, наступает бездождие (anāvṛṣṭi); но в соединении с Будхой (Меркурием) он становится причиной дождей.
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames natural events like rain within dharmic order, showing that careful observation (Jyotiṣa-based omens) supports righteous living—protecting society through timely planning and restraint during scarcity.
Indirectly: by encouraging disciplined, attentive living aligned with cosmic rhythms, it supports a sattvic life where duties are performed steadily—an essential foundation for sustained Viṣṇu-bhakti and worship without negligence.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa: using nakṣatra periods (Svātī), directional placement, and planetary conjunctions (Śukra with Budha) as technical indicators to judge rainfall versus drought.
