It frames precise cosmic order through Jyotiṣa terminology—showing that understanding the structured movements and nomenclature of the heavens is part of disciplined knowledge that supports dharma and higher contemplation.
Direct bhakti is not described here; instead, the verse supports the broader Purāṇic method where accurate cosmic and calendrical knowledge (planetary and path-classifications) undergirds timing and correctness of devotional observances.
Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology/astronomy): it classifies celestial tracks into northern, middle, and southern routes and notes multiple technical synonyms for the vīthikās connected with Venus (Śukra).
