Adhyaya 50 — Mind-Born Progeny, Svayambhuva Manu’s Lineage, and Brahmā’s Ordinance to Duḥsaha (Alakṣmī’s Retinue)
नव ब्रह्माण इत्येते पुराणे निश्चयंगताः ।
ततोऽसृजत् पुनर्ब्रह्मा रुद्रं क्रोधात्मसम्भवम् ॥
nava brahmāṇa ity ete purāṇe niścayaṃ-gatāḥ | tato ’sṛjat punar brahmā rudraṃ krodhātma-sambhavam ||

Cosmic order includes forces of dissolution and intensity: Rudra arises as a necessary principle when creation requires transformative power, even if sourced from ‘wrath’.
Sarga: it continues primary creation by naming principal progenitors and introducing Rudra’s origin as part of the cosmic functional balance.
‘Wrath’ here can signify concentrated tapas-like energy that breaks inertia. Rudra embodies the catalytic force that both destroys obstruction and renews the possibility of higher order.
