Arjuna–Karna Engagement in the Cattle-Raid Aftermath
एकान्ते पार्थमासीनं कूपेडग्निमिव संवृतम् । अज्ञानादभ्यवस्कन्दध्य प्राप्ता: स््मो भयमुत्तमम्
ekānte pārtham āsīnaṁ kūpe 'gnim iva saṁvṛtam | ajñānād abhyavaskandhya prāptāḥ smo bhayam uttamam ||
Крипа сказал: «По неведению мы бросились на Партху (Арджуну), сидящего здесь в уединении, сокрытого, словно огонь в колодце. Так мы навлекли на себя величайший страх. Держав их в лесу тринадцать лет и обращаясь с ними коварно, теперь, когда они освобождены от уз обета, разве не уничтожат они нас, как лев, сорвавшийся с цепи?»
