द्रौपद्याः भीमसेन-प्रबोधनम्
Draupadī Awakens Bhīmasena
न राजा राजवत् किंचित् समाचरति कीचके । दस्यूनामिव धर्मस्ते न हि संसदि शोभते
na rājā rājavat kiñcit samācarati kīcake | dasyūnām iva dharmas te na hi saṃsadi śobhate ||
Вайшампаяна сказал: «Этот царь ничем не поступает по-царски по отношению к Кичаке. О царь Матсьи, твой “закон”, подобный закону разбойников, не подобает царскому собранию. То, что меня здесь ударил Кичака в твоём же присутствии, нельзя назвать должным; и сидящие здесь придворные — свидетели этого насилия».
