arjuna uvāca | te kṛtā vimukhāḥ sarve matprayuktaiḥ śilāśitaiḥ | tato mātalinā tūrṇaṃ hayās te sampracoditāḥ ||

अजुन उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined martial competence and coordinated action: Arjuna’s effective, well-prepared weaponry compels the enemy to retreat, and Mātali’s prompt driving sustains momentum—an ethical model of focused duty (kṣatriya-dharma) executed without hesitation.
Arjuna reports that his stone-whetted arrows force all the foes to turn back and flee. Immediately afterward, Mātali, acting as charioteer, urges the horses forward quickly, pressing the advantage in the ongoing combat.
