चिरकारि-उपाख्यानम् / The Exemplum of Cirakārī: Deliberation Before Irreversible Action

उभयत्र सुखोदर्क इह चैव परत्र च | अलब्ध्वा निपुणं धर्म पाप: पापेन युज्यते,धर्मका पालन करनेसे आगे चलकर इस लोक और परलोकमें भी सुख मिलता है। पापी मनुष्य विचारपूर्वक धर्मका आश्रय न लेनेसे पापमें प्रवृत्त हो उसके दुःखरूप फलका भागी होता है

ubhayatra sukhodarka iha caiva paratra ca | alabdhvā nipuṇaṃ dharmaṃ pāpaḥ pāpena yujyate ||

Когда дхарма обретена верно и соблюдается, она приносит счастье в обеих сферах — здесь, в этом мире, и там, в ином. Но грешник, не прибегая к дхарме с рассудительностью, запутывается в самом грехе и становится причастен его мучительным последствиям.
