śakra uvāca: bhrātṝn drakṣyasi svarge tvam agratas tridivaṁ gatān | kṛṣṇayā sahitān sarvān mā śuco bharatarṣabha ||
Шакра (Индра) сказал: «О бык среди Бхарат, не скорби. В небесах ты узришь своих братьев, уже прежде тебя достигших божественного мира. Там ты найдёшь их всех, вместе с Кришной (Драупади)».
शक्र उवाच
The verse teaches restraint of grief through a dharmic perspective: separation by death is not final, and the righteous attain a higher state. Indra’s assurance redirects Yudhiṣṭhira from sorrow to trust in moral order and divine justice.
During the Great Departure, Yudhiṣṭhira has witnessed the fall of his companions. Śakra (Indra) addresses him, telling him not to mourn because his brothers have already reached heaven, and Draupadī is with them; upon proceeding, he will meet them there.
