नतासां रक्षणं शक््यं कर्तु पुंसां कथंचन
natāsāṃ rakṣaṇaṃ śakyaṃ kartuṃ puṃsāṃ kathaṃcana
Бхишма сказал: «Никак не могут мужчины обеспечить защиту тем, кто покорился и отдал себя под чужое попечение. Эти слова утверждают суровую нравственную истину: одного человеческого старания и доброго намерения часто недостаточно, чтобы гарантировать безопасность, когда кто-то стал всецело зависим; потому следует действовать со смирением, бдительностью и чувством ответственности, а не с самоуверенностью.»
