मर्द नामाहुतिमयं व्यादितास्यं महामुनि: । तस्य दन्‍तसहस््रं तु बभूव शतयोजनम्‌

Transliteration

marda nāmāhutimayaṃ vyāditāsyaṃ mahāmuniḥ | tasya dantahasraṃ tu babhūva śatayojanam ||

Translation

Чьявана сказал: «Великий мудрец, совершив возлияние в огонь, породил существо по имени Марда, сотканное из самого приношения, стоящее с разинутой пастью. В его пасти было тысяча зубов, и каждый был высотой в сто йоджан».
