अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
मनोरिन्द्राग्निमरुतां विश्वस्य ब्रह्मणो गतिम् । अग्राह्ममचलं शुद्ध बुद्धिग्राह्मा मनोमयम्
manor indrāgnimarutāṁ viśvasya brahmaṇo gatim | agrāhyam acalaṁ śuddhaṁ buddhigrāhyaṁ manomayam ||
Ваю сказал: «Он — путь и предел достижимости для Ума, для Индры, Агни и Марутов; воистину — для всей вселенной и даже для Брахмы. И всё же Его не схватить ни умом, ни чувствами. Неуловимый, неподвижный, чистый — Он постигается пробуждённым разумом и пребывает как внутренняя сущность ума».
