लोम्नां प्रमाणेन सम॑ ब्रह्मलोके महीयते । वह मनुष्य दो पताका (महापद्मा)

Transliteration

lomnāṁ pramāṇena samaṁ brahmaloke mahīyate |

Translation

Бхишма говорит: Человек почитается в Брахмалоке срок, измеряемый числом волосков (lomāni), то есть столько лет, сколько волосков в указанном собрании шкур, — что означает необычайно долгую, заслугами рождённую награду в высочайшей небесной обители.
