Adhyaya 89: शौचाचारलक्षणम् — सदाचार, भैक्ष्यचर्या, प्रायश्चित्त, द्रव्यशुद्धि, आशौच-निर्णय

अष्टाङ्गप्रणिपातेन त्रिधा न्यस्तेन सुव्रताः त्रिःप्रदक्षिणयोगेन वन्द्यो वै ब्रह्मणो गुरुः

aṣṭāṅgapraṇipātena tridhā nyastena suvratāḥ triḥpradakṣiṇayogena vandyo vai brahmaṇo guruḥ

О вы, соблюдающие дисциплину и превосходные обеты! Гуру — наставника Брахмы — воистину следует почитать восьмичленным простиранием (аштанга), троекратным полным возложением тела в знак предания, и совершением трёх обходов по правую руку (прадакшина) с бхакти.
