Suta Goswami (narrating an internal dialogue: a mother instructing her son)
The verse gives a direct injunction—“arcaya bhavam”—framing Shiva-archana (including Linga-puja) as the auspicious response to true spiritual insight, turning the devotee toward the supreme Pati.
By naming Shiva as “Bhava,” it points to him as the Lord of becoming and auspicious existence—the supreme Pati who is worthy of worship and capable of transforming the pashu from bondage (pāśa) toward freedom.
Shiva-arcana (worship/adoration) is highlighted—devotional practice that, in a Shaiva Siddhanta lens, supports purification of mala and loosening of pāśa, aligning the pashu with Pati through disciplined puja and remembrance.
