परिवर्तत्यहरहो यथा सोमस्तथैव सा चत्वार्यशीतिश् च तथा सहस्राणां समुच्छ्रितः
parivartatyaharaho yathā somastathaiva sā catvāryaśītiś ca tathā sahasrāṇāṃ samucchritaḥ
Как Луна день за днём прибывает и убывает, так и эта мера непрестанно обращается. Её считают как восемьдесят четыре, и она возрастает до тысяч, знаменуя упорядоченные циклы времени (кала) под властью Пати — Владыки всех перемен.
