Он был пламенно предан Бхаве (Шиве); хотя и юн, всегда пребывал стойким в тапасе. Постоянно погружённый в почитание Бхавы, он был славен, богат стадами, наделён острым различением и был лучшим среди двиджа.
Suta Goswami
It defines the archetype of a true Śaiva: constant Bhava-arcana (Śiva-worship) supported by tapas and discernment—showing that Linga-pūjā is not merely ritual but sustained devotion and discipline.
By naming Śiva as “Bhava,” it points to Him as Pati—the Lord who presides over becoming and liberation—toward whom the pashu (individual soul) turns through steadfast worship and inner purification.
Daily Bhava-arcana (Śiva/Liṅga worship) combined with tapas—an ascetic discipline aligned with Pāśupata-oriented practice where devotion, restraint, and focused remembrance loosen pāśa (bondage).
