Adhyaya 40: Kali-yuga Lakshana, Yuga-sandhyamsha, and the Re-emergence of Dharma

अक्षत्रियाश् च राजानो विप्राः शूद्रोपजीविनः आसनस्था द्विजान्दृष्ट्वा न चलन्त्यल्पबुद्धयः

akṣatriyāś ca rājāno viprāḥ śūdropajīvinaḥ āsanasthā dvijāndṛṣṭvā na calantyalpabuddhayaḥ

Даже цари, не являющиеся истинными кшатриями, и брахманы, живущие за счёт пропитания шудр, — сидя и видя двидж (дваждырождённых), не встают; таковые маломудры. В шиваитском понимании это признак поведения, связанного пашей: неуважение к дхарме препятствует очищению пашу и его готовности к милости (ануграхе) Шивы.
