अस्यैकादशसाहस्रे ग्रन्थमानमिह द्विजाः तस्मात्संक्षेपतो वक्ष्ये न श्रुतं विस्तरेण यत्

Transliteration

asyaikādaśasāhasre granthamānamiha dvijāḥ tasmātsaṃkṣepato vakṣye na śrutaṃ vistareṇa yat

Translation

О дважды-рождённые мудрецы, объём этого писания здесь — одиннадцать тысяч шлок. Потому я изложу его кратко — то, что не было услышано в полном развернутом виде, — дабы без многословия постичь сущностный смысл о Пати (Шиве) и освобождении пашу.
