Ācamana-vidhi, Śauca, and Conduct Rules for Study, Eating, and Bodily Functions

भोजने संध्ययोः स्नात्वा पीत्वा मूत्रपुरीषयोः / आचान्तो ऽप्याचमेत् सुप्त्वा सकृत्सकृदथान्यतः

bhojane saṃdhyayoḥ snātvā pītvā mūtrapurīṣayoḥ / ācānto 'pyācamet suptvā sakṛtsakṛdathānyataḥ

Во время еды, в обе сандхьи (на рассвете и в сумерках), после омовения, после питья, а также после мочеиспускания и испражнения следует совершать ачаману (очищающее отпивание воды). Даже если ачамана уже была сделана, после сна её нужно повторить, и так же — многократно в иных подобных случаях.
