Agni Purana — Mantra-shastra, Shloka 17

Derivation

Uddhāra) of the Sakalādi Mantra (सकलादिमन्त्रोद्धारः

tadante viśvarūpantu kuṭilantu tridhā tataḥ evaṃ prāsādamantraś ca sarvakarmakaro manuḥ

FAQs

It specifies shaped configurations (viśvarūpa and a threefold kuṭila form) to be applied at the concluding portion of a prāsāda-mantra/ritual sequence—technical details typical of Vāstu and temple-consecration procedures.

Beyond theology, it preserves applied ritual-technology for sacred architecture—linking mantras with precise formal/diagrammatic placements used in temple construction and installation rites, a hallmark of the Agni Purāṇa’s wide technical scope.

By prescribing the correct concluding forms and recitation method for the prāsāda-mantra, it is presented as ‘sarva-karmakara’—supporting the successful, purified completion of temple rites and their intended religious merit.
