Chapter 365 — क्षत्रविट्शूद्रवर्गाः
The Classes of Kṣatriyas, Vaiśyas, and Śūdras
तत्कालस्तु तदात्वं स्यादुदर्कः फलमुत्तरं अदृष्टं वह्नितोयादि दृष्टं स्वपरचक्रजम्
tatkālastu tadātvaṃ syādudarkaḥ phalamuttaraṃ adṛṣṭaṃ vahnitoyādi dṛṣṭaṃ svaparacakrajam
«Немедленное время» (tatkāla) — то, что дает эффект сразу; «ударка» (udarka) — более поздний, последующий результат. «Невидимое» (adṛṣṭa) возникает из факторов вроде огня, воды и т. п.; «видимое» (dṛṣṭa) производится собственными или вражескими силами (войсками).
Lord Agni (teaching in the Agni Purana’s instructional discourse)
Vidya Category: {"primary_vidya":"Jyotisha","secondary_vidya":"Dhanurveda","practical_application":"Classifying outcomes by temporal proximity (immediate vs delayed) and by visibility (unseen vs seen causes) for forecasting results in muhurta/phala contexts and in practical decision-making (including war outcomes).","sutra_style":true}

Concept: Causal analysis and temporal framing of results—distinguishing manifest agency from latent/indirect factors.
Application: In planning (ritual, governance, war), separate controllable visible causes from uncontrollable/hidden ones and adjust timing expectations for results.
Khanda Section: Jyotisha / Muhurta & Phala-nirnaya (time-classification and results)
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: vira

Another split shows unseen causes (fire/water forces) versus seen causes (two armies clashing).","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural: symbolic panels labeled tatkāla and udarka; adṛṣṭa shown as elemental deities of fire and water acting behind scenes; dṛṣṭa shown as warriors in clear view; bold colors, icon-like clarity.","tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore: two gilded medallions—‘Immediate’ with flame motif, ‘Later’ with ripening fruit; below, unseen elemental forces vs visible armies; gold work on borders and emblems.","mysore_prompt":"Mysore instructional painting: neat quadrants with captions tatkāla/udarka/adṛṣṭa/dṛṣṭa; simple illustrative icons (clock, sprout, flame, wave, soldiers).","mughal_miniature_prompt":"Mughal miniature: court astrologer explaining a chart to a commander; background vignettes show flood/fire accidents (unseen contingencies) and a battle scene (seen cause); fine detailing and margins."}

It defines two timing categories of results—tatkāla (immediate) and udarka (delayed)—and distinguishes adṛṣṭa (unseen causation) from dṛṣṭa (seen, worldly causation), a key analytical tool used in Jyotiṣa/phala-nirṇaya.
By offering a compact technical taxonomy of time and causation (immediate vs delayed results; unseen vs seen causes), it shows the Agni Purana’s encyclopedic method—defining terms used across astrology, statecraft, and practical decision-making.
It frames outcomes as arising both from adṛṣṭa (karmically conditioned, unseen factors) and dṛṣṭa (observable human agency such as one’s own or an enemy’s actions), encouraging discernment, responsibility, and humility regarding results.
