लशुनं गुञ्जनं चाद्यात् प्राजापत्यादिना शुचिः भुक्त्वा चान्द्रायणं कुर्यान् मांसञ्चात्मकृतन्तथा

laśunaṃ guñjanaṃ cādyāt prājāpatyādinā śuciḥ bhuktvā cāndrāyaṇaṃ kuryān māṃsañcātmakṛtantathā

Если кто съел чеснок или гунджану (guñjana), он очищается покаянием Праджапатьи (Prājāpatya) и подобными ему. Съев мясо, следует принять обет Чандраяны (Cāndrāyaṇa); то же относится и к мясу, приготовленному собственноручно.
