The Obstacle-Removing Vow

Procedure for Worship of Vināyaka

पायसैः पञ्चभिः पात्रैरुपेतं तु तिलैस्तथा । एवं कृत्वा व्रतं चै तत् सर्वविघ्नैर्विमुच्यते ॥ ५९.४ ॥

pāyasaiḥ pañcabhiḥ pātrair upetaṃ tu tilais tathā | evaṃ kṛtvā vrataṃ caitat sarva-vighnair vimucyate || 59.4 ||

Com cinco recipientes cheios de pāyasa (arroz-doce), e igualmente acompanhados de sementes de gergelim, tendo assim realizado este voto, a pessoa é libertada de todos os obstáculos.
