दस्यून् निहत्य सा देवी तस्य राज्ञस्तनुं पुनः । प्रविशन्त्याशु राजा अपि प्रतिबुद्धोऽथ दृष्टवान् । म्लेच्छांस्तु निहतान् दृष्ट्वा सा स्वमूर्त्तिलयं गता ॥ ४७.१६ ॥

dasyūn nihatya sā devī tasya rājñas tanuṃ punaḥ | praviśanty āśu rājā 'pi pratibuddho 'tha dṛṣṭavān | mlecchāṃs tu nihatān dṛṣṭvā sā sva-mūrti-layaṃ gatā || 47.16 ||

Tendo abatido os salteadores, essa deusa voltou a entrar no corpo daquele rei. O rei também despertou depressa e viu; e, ao ver os mlecchas jazendo mortos, ela se retirou e se dissolveu de novo em sua própria forma.
