Description of the Brāhmaṇa Initiation Procedure

Dīkṣā-sūtra

ततो महीवचः श्रुत्वा मेघदुन्दुभिनिःस्वनः ॥ वराहरूपी भगवान्प्रत्युवाच वसुन्धराम् ॥

tato mahīvacaḥ śrutvā meghadundubhiniḥsvanaḥ | varāharūpī bhagavān pratyuvāca vasundharām ||

Então, tendo ouvido as palavras de Mahī, o Senhor Bem-aventurado na forma de Varāha—cujo som era como nuvem e tambor duṇḍubhi—respondeu a Vasundharā.
