प्रह्लाद उवाच । गजेपि विष्णुर्भुजगेऽपि विष्णुर्जलेऽपि विष्णुर्ज्वलनेऽपि विष्णुः । त्वयि स्थितो दैत्य मयि स्थितश्च विष्णुं विना दैत्यगणाऽपि नास्ति
prahlāda uvāca | gajepi viṣṇurbhujage'pi viṣṇurjale'pi viṣṇurjvalane'pi viṣṇuḥ | tvayi sthito daitya mayi sthitaśca viṣṇuṃ vinā daityagaṇā'pi nāsti
Prahlāda disse: "No elefante também está Viṣṇu; na serpente também está Viṣṇu; na água também está Viṣṇu; no fogo também está Viṣṇu. Ele habita em ti, ó Daitya, e habita em mim também — sem Viṣṇu, nem mesmo as hostes de demônios podem existir."
