प्रहरेन्न च विप्राय हत्वा शत्रून्न शेषयेत् । क्रोधं कुर्यान्न चाकस्मान्मृदुः स्यान्नापकारिषु
praharenna ca viprāya hatvā śatrūnna śeṣayet | krodhaṃ kuryānna cākasmānmṛduḥ syānnāpakāriṣu
Que não golpeie um brāhmaṇa; e, tendo vencido os inimigos, não os deixe remanescer para que se levantem de novo. Que não se irrite sem motivo, mas também não seja brando com os que fazem o mal.
