हूत्वाहूत्वा स पप्रच्छ गुरुं वह्निं द्विजोत्तमः । प्रसादं कुरु मे ब्रूहि कोऽस्या भर्ता भविष्यति
hūtvāhūtvā sa papraccha guruṃ vahniṃ dvijottamaḥ | prasādaṃ kuru me brūhi ko'syā bhartā bhaviṣyati
Chamando-o repetidas vezes, aquele brāhmaṇa excelso perguntou ao seu guru—o Fogo: “Sê gracioso comigo; diz-me, quem será o esposo dela?”
