दीपोद्द्योतितभूभागा रात्रावपि यथा दिने । विचरंति तथा मर्त्या देवा देवालये यथा

dīpoddyotitabhūbhāgā rātrāvapi yathā dine | vicaraṃti tathā martyā devā devālaye yathā

A terra estava iluminada por lamparinas, de modo que mesmo à noite parecia dia. Assim, os mortais circulavam livremente, como os deuses se movem dentro de um templo divino.
