ईश्वर उवाच । एवमुक्तः सुरगणैरगस्त्यो मुनिपुङ्गवः । जगाम त्रिदशैः सार्धं समुद्रं प्रति हर्षितः
īśvara uvāca | evamuktaḥ suragaṇairagastyo munipuṅgavaḥ | jagāma tridaśaiḥ sārdhaṃ samudraṃ prati harṣitaḥ
Īśvara disse: Assim interpelado pelas hostes de Devas, Agastya — o mais eminente dos sábios — partiu jubiloso com os deuses em direção ao oceano.
