Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (Pārvatī)
Scene: A devotee, having completed offerings, stands before a liṅga shrine; Śiva is evoked as Kaparddin with matted locks; the narration gestures to vast cosmic time (Cākṣuṣa Manvantara) through symbolic celestial backdrops.
After giving (dāna/offerings), one should complete the act through Śiva-pūjā—charity and worship together become dharma that yields merit.
Prabhāsakṣetra (Prabhāsa), presented in the Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa as a pre-eminent Śaiva sacred landscape.
A sequence is implied: first make an offering (dattvā), then worship Mahādeva (pūjayet).
