Transliteration

tato hataṃ balaṃ dṛṣṭvā rururmāyāmathā'sṛjat | tāmasīṃnāma deveśi tayāmuhyata naiva sā

Translation

Vendo suas forças abatidas, o Dānava Ruru lançou uma ilusão chamada Tāmasī (Trevas). Contudo, ó Deusa dos deuses, ela não foi de modo algum iludida por esse engano.
