द्रोणपुत्रसहायेन पापेन कृतवर्मणा । समाप्तं चायुरस्याद्य यशश्चापि सुमध्यमे
droṇaputrasahāyena pāpena kṛtavarmaṇā | samāptaṃ cāyurasyādya yaśaścāpi sumadhyame
“Pelo pecaminoso Kṛtavarman, auxiliar do filho de Droṇa—hoje sua vida se encerra, e sua fama também, ó tu de cintura esbelta.”
