Tirtha: Haripriyā-tīrtha
Type: ghat
Listener: A brāhmaṇa-sage (viprendra muni)
Scene: A departed spirit (Paryuṣita) implores a sage to go at uttarāyaṇa to Haripriyā-tīrtha and offer śrāddha; the setting suggests a sacred ford with calm waters and ritual space.
Proper rites performed at the right time and sacred place can transform the fate of the departed and restore spiritual direction (gati).
