trailokyamidamavyagraṃ maheṃdreṇa tu pālitam | tretāyuge tu daśame kārttavīryo mahābalaḥ

Este tríplice mundo foi guardado em paz por Mahendra (Indra), o grande. Então, no décimo Tretā-yuga, surgiu o poderosíssimo Kārttavīrya.
